Tom's Toyota Commuter Conversion

Tom was after a design that suited a medium sized van. The Toyota Commuter (Maxi Taxi in Australia) offers more head room over a long wheel base. We collected the van in Sydney, and dropped it back 3 weeks later. 

Insulated, timber panel lining on ceiling, walls and floor. Over head sliding compartments, bedside chest storage on static bed with hatch. 12 V Fridge and battery box storage alongside shelving and bench space. 2 X 120 Watt solar with regulator, AGM Battery, 1500W inverter, down lights and strip LED's, USB ports, ceiling air vent, 50L water solution. Slide out kitchen with propane gas cooker from side door with bench top and front access. additional 3 X storage compartments under bed for surf boards and a huge slide out drawer at the rear for Tom's climbing gear.  

End result.... We are still stoked on it too.
